Adair Excels at Mid-America Cup Invitational Contest The award's dinner for the Mid-America Cup innovation competition was held Monday, December 11. The Go-2-Shoes team won 3rd place for the Best Business Plan and 1st Place for the 90-second Elevator Pitch given by James Stanley. Congratulations to both teams: Go-2-Shoes and Easy Easels for their work they put into developing an innovative solution and business to take it to the market. Special thanks to Scott Fry and the Mid-America Industrial Park as well as i2E for putting on the competition. Thank you to the businesses who helped sponsor the cash prizes for the competition and the award dinner. Lastly, thank you to the local individuals who helped guide the teams as they learned about business start-ups: Traci Rabbit, Mason Hudson, Rebekah-King Moore, Curt Rader, and Isaac Best.

In celebration of Bernita Hughes Elementary School's (BHE) extremely successful Jog-a-Thon fundraiser, Adair PTO purchased an Adair Warrior shirt for each student in BHE! Saturday, November 18, both FIRST Lego League teams competed in the University Tulsa Qualifying Regional competition. FLL 36354 Lego Legends finished the competition as the Champions and also 1st place in robot performance. FLL 33635 Lego Warriors finished 2nd place for their Innovation Project. Both teams qualified for the State competition to be held at Oklahoma State University on December 9th. Congratulations, Warriors!

Friday, December 1st will be a distance (virtual) learning day to allow our students and staff the opportunity to attend the funeral of Sharon Van Atten. Ms. Van was a beloved educator who served our school and community for decades.

APS hosted a Thanksgiving/Christmas canned food drive! All 3 school sites participated in gathering food items to distribute amongst our community during the Holiday season. Thank you to all the students and faculty that participated, Adair FCCLA for sorting and packaging the food items, and Adair FFA for transporting all the goods to Adair First Baptist. Serving one another, its the Warrior Way!

Adair Honor Choir Takes on District Contest Sara Kirk and Trinity Sinks performed in the District Honor Choir last Tuesday night at First Baptist Church, Tulsa. In September, they competed against several hundred choral students throughout the region for a spot in the Honor Choir. We are so proud of their performance and their hard work. Congrats, Lady Warriors!
